(More customer reviews)Over the years, I've had to replace the glass carafe that came with my Krups espresso maker several times. I was thrilled when I found this generic carafe because it's made of heavier glass and costs about half as much. Now if someone would only come out with a replacement lid! (Krups lids are just as flimsy as their carafes -- the tabs that are supposed to hold the lid to the carafe snap off with the slightest touch.)

Bottom line -- if you need to replace your Krups carafe, get this Medelco one instead and save up for a better machine.
