(More customer reviews)Originally bought one of these for my mother after her beloved Mr. Coffee finally went to its' maker.After reading many reviews, I felt fairly confident purchasing it for her.She makes a pot in the morning, and has a cup or two before work.With the thermos, the same pot is still plenty hot when she comes home from work and, she claims, as good as the first cup.Well, I got deployed to a warm and sandy place (I'm Army, guess where), and decided to get a new maker to replace the piece of cr*p the previous tenants were using, and ordered the #45224 for myself and my crew.It arrived promptly, considering (thank you Amazon!) and was soon pressed into heavy duty service.Thought the thermos would be useful, but frankly, a pot of coffee doesn't stay full for long here.But so far it's performed like a champ, making 8 to 10 pots a day.We use bottled water exclusively, so didn't bother with the filter.Our only quibbles are there's no way to tell if the thermos is empty till you pour that last drop.Also, the brew light is fairly dim, and unless the pot is directly in front of you, difficult to see under florescent lighting.However, everything else about the machine is excellent.I'd write a nice review on the included mugs, but the CG took a shine to one of them and it's now in his office, and I couldn't even begin to guess where the other one went (things that are good tend to "get legs" around here).I will be buying this maker again in the future.
