(More customer reviews)I purchased this coffee maker from Target to replace my Cuisinart that died. It is a nice looking coffee maker and the functions are very well laid out and easy to use. I really like this coffee maker except for 2 things that make it a deal breaker for me. 1. The opening of the carafe is to narrow to allow for your hand to get in and properly clean it, and 2. The coffee is just not hot. It comes out of the machine at 160F and I have to further heat it if I use milk from the refrigerator(not an issue with the Cuisinart). If you take your coffee black, use powder creamer or non refrigerated creamer it should be fine. I am giving it away and going back to the Cuisinart.

(More customer reviews)Basic unit with not many extra features, but makes good coffee, looks good, and is quite easy to set up and use.That's what I wanted & that's what this unit delivers.Only "complaint" is that the top lid feels a bit flimsy and might be a bit too easy to break if you got rough with it.NOTE:After I bought this unit from Amazon, I found it for sale in a regular store for $23 and some change.That didn't make me very happy.Do yourself a favor and shop around.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this from kohls because they had it in cobalt blue.when it stopped working in 10 days I called Hamiliton Beach and after what was more like an arguement they agreed to send me another. The new replacement stopped working in 14 days.The water doesn't heat or move to the coffee ressvoir.The heat plate heats an empty pot because brewing never starts.It is a beautiful coffeemaker. In each color it comes in it is simply a work of art. Like art it doesn't do anything but look pretty.It is amazing that it stops working it made with heavy metal.It is almost as heavy as my Kitchen-aid cobalt blue stand mixer.Their must be a manufactur defect the company refuse to correct. Don't buy, it will die!!

(More customer reviews)We had no need for a new coffee pot.The free one from Gevelia was working just fine.However, on a recent trip to K-mart we caught this one on sale for just under 40 bucks, and it's RED!We've slowly been building up a counter top of red kitchen appliances, so the coffee maker fits right in!

Easy to clean!The mouth of the pitcher is as wide as the base, so it's easy to get your hand inside to clean it out unlike some.Few buttons, so it's easy to program too.Very light weight, so it's also easy to move the maker around if needed.No complaints about speed either.I never feel like I'm waiting on it to finish.One small complaint, but it's nothing major...there is no room for going over the 12 cup limit.It will overflow!Some makers have a little room for you to overfill, but not this one! No biggie, just don't overfill!

I also like the wide karaff on this one.A lot of pitchers have a weird karaff that always causes you to spill a few drops when pouring that first cup.Not this one!Clean up of the coffee ground chamber is easy too.I suggest investing in one of those permanent copper reusable filters.They work really well with this one. I have yet to end up with grounds in the coffee.
