(More customer reviews)I was an owner of the original brewstation and its many faults (i.e. electrical, badly lit clock, turning on "magically" without my help. Well, I just bought the brewstation deluxe and Hamilton Beach must have listened to all the complaints about the original brewstation!It seems to be so much better than the original. It has sleeker look and is taller (for taller mugs) The clock just "glows!" It's great! It even has different brewing options, which is cool. It has an ice tea feature too! It also has a filter for a better tasting brew and a goldtone filter which is all standard(Just shake, open and pour!) I am crossing my fingers that nothing goes wrong, because I really like this newer version with all the kinks worked out of it. I hope everyone else has the same great results with it!

With simple push-button convenience, the machine offers four brew cycles, which include normal, flavor plus, 1 to 4 cups, and decaf. For added convenience, the machine can be programmed for "wake-up" coffee, and its adjustable auto shutoff provides peace of mind. In addition, mid-brew dispensing makes the appliance handy for anybody in a hurry. Other highlights include a large digital clock/timer with blue backlighting, indicators for water filter cleaning and replacement, easy-to-view liquid level with measurement markings, and a swivel base. A permanent Gold Tone filter and water filters are also included. Housed in sleek black plastic with stainless-steel accents, the coffeemaker measures 14-1/2 by 8-3/4 by 10-3/4 inches and carries a one-year warranty.

(More customer reviews)My brother gave me this as a Christmas present and I've had it for over a year.It makes great coffee and looks wonderful on my kitchen countertop.Unfortunately, I banged one of the glass parts and cracked it last week.It still works, but I'm looking for a replacement piece before the crack spreads too much.

Avoid this if you need something that isn't easy to break, but otherwise it's really cool!

Update: I called the company that made this coffee maker today.They are sending a replacement part via priority mail.Hence the 5 stars.Great coffee, great look, great customer service.

This coffee maker is gorgeous and would make a lovely addition to your kitchen. Ice and water are placed in the top jar, and by regulating the dripping water through the valve in the center, coffee is steeped and ends up in the carafe at the bottom of the tower. Through a unique 3 hour process using pure ice water, ice drip coffee produces a unique flavor not found in regular brewed coffee. It's easy to use. Just put the water and coffee grounds into the brewer and you are ready to go. A permanent ceramic filter mechanism is included and is available in a brown stain finish. This coffee maker holds 32 oz. By slowly brewing your coffee with ice water, the harsher oils in your ground coffee are not brought out. The final brew is a lot mellower than a regular brew machine.

(More customer reviews)If you already love the smooth taste of cold brewed coffee, you will never go back to brewing coffee after using this machine.For too long, I made cold brewed coffee by putting grounds and water in a big jar and then straining it through coffee filters.I ended up with as much coffee on the kitchen counter as I did in my cup.The hourglass cold brew system is a delight.It's made from BPA free plastic and is simple and clean to use.All you do is measure the grounds and water into one of the brew chambers and then let it sit on your counter for 12 hours.When done, you simply turn it over and the grounds stay in the brew chamber and the coffee runs into the second brew chamber.Done!No mess!The directions say you can re-use the grounds if you put more water in right away.I've done this every time and the second batch tastes just as good as the first.All in all, I think by using the grounds twice, the system becomes quite economical.I read the reviews of the other systems and decided to spring for the Hourglass because even though it is more expensive, it seems to have addressed the issues that other reviewers complained about (no lid on the fridge container, plastic, etc.)This machine is worth every penny.See [...].
