(More customer reviews)This kettle did everything it is supposed to flawlessly...for 7 months.Then it just quit.The switch no longer turned it on or the overheat switch is preventing it from turning on.
Appearantly "Toastess" is not a real brand name.This is a Chinese-made import item from Fox International.I sent mine in for repair under the one year warranty.No shipping label is available and so I had to spend more than one third its new value on return postage alone...We will see how the repair or replacement goes.
Update:It is now December and I still don't have a kettle.
After they had it a month, they determined that the kettle needed to be replaced (hey, don't rush on my account).Now it is two more months later and four calls so far and I still don't have a replacement...
So the moral is spend a little more and get a brand name kettle by a reputable company...
